The spy shots of the 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz pickup truck are available, and we immediately noticed the Hyundai Tucson roots. Unlike the Ford Ranger or Chevy Colorado rivals, the Santa Cruz sits atop in its class thanks to its unibody chassis. In case that you missed it, the unibody chassis is also used on the Honda Ridgeline pickup truck.
The Santa Cruz is entering its second model year, we expect it to be a carryover model. The fresh batch of spy photos shows camouflage wrap on the front that exposes the shape of the grille, and also some changes on the back. As we can see, the latest Santa Cruz features a big, eye-catching grille, same we saw on the Tucson SUV.
The split headlights are low-mounted, and they are similar to the one on the Santa Fe. Overall, the design is way more attractive than before, and we’re expecting to see more changes on the final product.
Interior Upgrades
Compared to the outgoing version, the 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz will come with the same refinement and modern cabin. Just like the Santa Fe, and Palisade, the Hyundai Santa Cruz will offer a very spacious cabin for up to five passengers.
The highlight inside is definitively a new 10.25-inch screen, which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity as standard. Standard safety tech might be better than before. So, we’re expecting a driver-attention warning, lane-keep assist, and a forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking.

Besides, the manufacturer also offers an optional 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 281 hp and 311 lb-ft of torque. The more powerful engine uses an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and standard all-wheel drive.
2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz Release Date, Price
At the moment, there is no official on-sale date for the Hyundai Santa Cruz. From what we know, the new truck will be available sometime next year to purchase as the 2024-year model. Pricing also remains unconfirmed but considering no significant changes, we expect it to carry the same MSRP as the current model.
The current truck starts at $25,175, and it can reach $40,900. As the outgoing model, the new pickup will continue its rivalry with the Ford Ranger, Honda Ridgeline, and Nissan Frontier.
