After so many rumors, the 2024 Hyundai Palisade EV truck has been finally rendered. The new truck looks awesome, sharing pretty much the same design as the SUV version.
Hyundai has lately attracted a lot of attention after announcing that it’s working on a new pickup that will use the same roots as the Palisade SUV. The forthcoming model will allegedly be an all-electric, featuring two electric motors attached to a large battery. Overall, the unibody pickup truck combined with Palisade’s DNA is something special that we have seen lately. Here’s everything that we know about this all-electric truck.
2024 Hyundai Palisade EV Truck Exterior
The 2024 Hyundai Palisade EV truck is rendered using the same DNA as the SUV variant. It features a very attractive front fascia with a completely closed grille and a new set of LED headlights. Below the headlights, we also noticed a new fog light using the same lighting system.
The side profile is no less attractive thanks to a new wheel and some sharp lines on the doors. There is a large Palisade logo stamped into the tailgate on the back, and we also noticed a visually better taillight.
On the inside, we think that the new 2024 Hyundai Palisade EV truck will share many design elements with the SUV version. The manufacturer updated the interior design of the SUV this year, adding a new instrument panel, gauge cluster, steering wheel design, and seating surfaces. Thanks to that, the Palisade looks fresh, modern, and high-tech. However, unlike the Palisade SUV which can seat up to eight people, the pickup truck will offer up to five seats.
As for standard features, this model includes Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and new USB-C ports in the first and second rows. Also, the Palisade is available with many standard safety and driver assistance tech features. With the base model, you’ll get automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, driver attention warning, automatic high beams, rear parking sensors, rear occupant alert, blind-spot monitoring, and much more.
2024 Hyundai Palisade EV Truck Motor Specs
As we said, the 2024 Hyundai Palisade EV truck will be all-electric and, from many reports, it will use a similar EV system as the Ioniq 5 hatchback. However, unlike the hatchback, which uses a single electric motor, the Hyundai Palisade EV Truck could come with two motors, making the all-wheel drive standard.
At the moment, we don’t have any information regarding the battery and capacity of this model. Anyway, the Ioniq 5 uses a standard 58.0-kWh battery pack, which allows the travel of 220 miles. The larger 77.4-kWh battery pack with dual motors provides 266 miles, while the single motor offers 303 miles.
Price and Release Date of the 2024 Hyundai Palisade EV Truck
We don’t have any official information regarding the price and release date of the 2024 Hyundai Palisade EV truck. From many rumors, this pickup truck could start at $45,000, which is around $10,000 more compared to the SUV version.
For those who may not know, the current Palisade SUV is also available in trims like SE at $36,950, XRT at $40,250, and with Limited and Calligraphy trims, which start at $46,500 and $48,900, respectively. If rumors prove to be accurate, the Hyundai Palisade EV truck could hit stores sometime next year, probably in the second half.
