The new 2023 Ford Courier pickup truck is expected to arrive toward the end of the year. So, the previous rumors are accurate, and the new compact unibody pickup will adopt a more rugged look to satisfy American tastes. Interestingly, some new renderings are available, and the upcoming Ford Courier looks similar to the recently introduced Ford Ranger. Basically, it is featuring the same front and rear fascia.
Drivetrain options will be the same as on the Escape model, which means we can expect two EcoBoost engines. Those same engines are powering the latest Escape crossover. The new truck will be reportedly built in Mexico at the same plant where the Bronco Sport is assembled.
2023 Ford Courier First Look
The first renderings of the 2023 Ford Courier are available, and they reveal the same design language as we saw on the Ford Ranger model. First and foremost, the Ford Courier comes with the same attractive front featuring a big grille, stylish headlights, and skid plate.
We must also admit that the grille of the forthcoming Courier looks like it is taken from the Ford Bronco model. Overall, the design is unique, and we like the new 20-inch wheels. Like the Ford ranger, the Courier model will come with the same short bed that has big lettering FORD on the tailgate.
Interior Rumors
Unfortunately, at the moment, we don’t have any image on the inside. However, we believe that Blue Oval will add more quality materials to stay competitive. The seating layout should allow up to five passengers, offering great comfort for all. Also, expect the same infotainment as we saw on the ranger.
That means we will see at least an 8-inch touchscreen that supports Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration and satellite radio. Safety will also be the same as on Bronco and Ranger, and it should include blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alerts, trailer tow monitoring, lane-keeping assistance, and automatic high beam.

2023 Ford Courier Engine Specs
Under the hood, we’re expecting the 2023 Ford Courier to use the same engines as the current Escape model. That means buyers will have an opportunity to choose two EcoBoost engines.
The base one should be a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder that is able of producing 180 horsepower. However, we think a 2.0-liter turbo-four will be available optionally, producing 250 hp and respectively. Both engines could use Ford’s eight-speed automatic transmission.

2023 Ford Courier Release Date, Price
As we said, some of the new renderings of the forthcoming 2023 Ford Courier are available, and it looks attractive. It seems that the next-generation model will wear the same design language as the popular Ford Ranger. In general, this is a great move from Blue Oval to get more buyers.
The new pickup truck will be built in Mexico, in the same plant where the Bronco Sport will be produced. We’re expecting this model toward the end of the year with the price range between 23.000 dollars to $25,000. The closest competition to the Courier is the popular Korean pickup Hyundai Santa Cruz.
