2023 Fiat Fullback Cross Review, Engine Specs, Release Date, and Price

2023 Fiat Fullback Cross front

The 2023 Fiat Fullback Cross is an upcoming pickup truck that looks really sporty and aggressive. As far as we know, the new model will be fully introduced in the coming months, while sales are expected to start in the first quarter of 2023. Unlike the original Fiat Fullback, the Cross edition will boost design on the higher level.

However, as the base model, the all-new Fullback Cross is powered by the same 2.4-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel powertrain. This engine, in case you didn’t know, is also available under the hood of the Mitsubishi’s L200 model. It produces 180 HP and 317 lb-ft of torque and is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission.

2023 Fiat Fullback Cross Design

The exterior of the 2023 Fiat Fullback Cross is sporty and aggressive at the same time. Unlike the regular model that comes with a two-door configuration, the forthcoming Cross is only available with a four-door body style. It dominates at the front with a unique grille, fake chrome, and it features attractive headlights.

We don’t know for sure if this model uses standard LED lightning, or it will be optional. Anyway, the design is much better compared to the regular truck, but those changes are minor. The side steps are all-new and the forthcoming Fullback Cross receives a new sport bar that runs over the cargo bed.

Remarkable Interior

On the inside, the 2023 Fiat Fullback Cross will come with small interior improvements compared to the original model. From information that we got, the new truck will get high-quality materials and an upgraded tech as well.
Still, like the original Fullback, the Cross features the same 7-inch touchscreen but now with much better resolution.

Automatic dual-zone climate control is optional, while Bluetooth and USB ports are standard, just like the backup camera and navigation. We also expect it to come with a vast number of options and probably with the same driver assist features that we saw on some previous Fiat models.

2023 Fiat Fullback Cross Powertrain Specs

Under the hood, the Fiat Fullback Cross, as we said, will use the same engine as the original one. This means we will once again see a 2.4-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel powertrain. This engine is capable of producing 180 HP and 317 lb-ft of torque.

This engine is available with either a 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission. It is worth mentioning that exactly the same engine is powering the current Mitsubishi’s L200 model as well.

2023 Fiat Fullback Cross Price, Release Date

The 2023 Fiat Fullback Cross is a sportier version of the popular Fullback truck. Despite more sporty styling, it also offers a more comfortable ride. Basically, this truck is a retuned version of Mitsubishi L200 or Mitsubishi Triton. Furthermore, the Fullback Cross uses the same engine as L200 and much more.

The Italian carmaker will in the coming months release exact pricing details, but we can expect the price between $34,000 and $37,000. As for the release date, the new mid-size pickup truck will go on sale later this year.
