The upcoming 2021 Ram 1500 Night Edition is a brand-new model that will offer the amazing look and improved interior design. The biggest news is Ram’s new 1500 TRX truck with impressive power. For that reason, the Ram 1500 Night Edition is not in focus right now. However, we think this could become a very popular variant among customers.
It is an edition based on the Limited trim level. The Night Edition will be offered in the heavy-duty lineup as well. Ram will provide various exterior upgrades, and even the interior will be improved. Thanks to that, Ram 1500 will provide even more customization. We are still waiting to hear more details about the hybrid powertrain and a more precise launch date.
Ram 1500 Night Edition Exterior
The all-new 2021 Ram 1500 Night Edition will get numerous visual updates. The arriving pickup will look more premium, which is great. On the other hand, this edition is based on the Limited trim, which already looks great and more upscale than the base model. Ram will provide a monochromatic design, unique badges and a black grille.
Moreover, black aluminum wheels are looking amazing. The rims are ranged from 20 to 22-inches, and Ram will also offer new exhaust tips. The headlights and taillights are available with dark bezels, and new power mirrors are in the offer. Lastly, Night Edition is available with body-colored features.
The arriving pickup truck will also gain various interior refreshments. The 2021 Ram 1500 Night Edition is full of luxury. The credit goes to Limited trim level, a version that this edition is based on. Thanks to that, Night Edition will offer a lot of premium amenities, more standard features and newest driver-assistance aids. For instance, a 19-speaker Harman/Kardon premium sound system is offered as standard.
Moreover, Night Edition comes with tri-fold tonneau cover and additional black interior accents. We’d recommend the Comfort Package that adds a 12-way power driver’s seat, wireless charging, adaptive cruise control and lane-departure warning. Still, an 8.4-inch touchscreen remains standard, while the 12-inch unit is optional once again.
Hybrid Powertrain a Possibility
The 2021 Ram 1500 Night Edition will deploy a standard 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine. This engine is optional on the base trim level, but Limited variant offers it as standard. The engine cranks out 395 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. Generally, nothing will change under the bonnet. On the other hand, Ram’s eTorque mild-hybrid system should become available.
According to FCA, a hybrid version will add another 130 lb-ft of torque. A hybrid powertrain will deliver significantly better fuel efficiency, and towing capacity will be rated at around 13,000 pounds. A 4×2 driving setup is available as standard and Ram will also deliver an optional 4×4 system. Lastly, you can get this edition in a crew cab and mega cab variants.
2021 Ram 1500 Night Edition Release Date, Price
As for the price, new 2021 Ram 1500 Limited Edition will cost $60,000. The FCA promised Night Edition for the heavy-duty models, so the price of this model will start at $63,000. New model will hit the dealerships in the coming months, before the end of 2020.
